Altamont, TN 37301-4269 Parents are encouraged to send their Scout mail during their stay at camp. Please advise parents to include a return address, so that mail that arrives after the Scout has departed can be returned. Out-going mail should be left at the Administration Building. In-coming mail and messages are placed in the Troop Mailbox in the Administration building. Stamps are available at the Trading Post. UPS and FedEx delivery services are available for Skymont. The Camp telephone is reserved for camp business and emergencies.
The camp phone number: (931) 692-3435. The Council's phone number for all other business and questions: (423) 892-8323. Additional phones are available at the Administration Building for Scouts and Leaders to make out-going phone calls. A Leader must accompany a Scout to using the phone. Calling Cards and 1-800-Collect calls are the only way to call out. Due to our remote location, cellular phone service is VERY limited at Skymont. INTERNET ACCESS
Internet access will be available at the Administration Building for Leaders that need to check e-mail or must conduct a limited amount of business while at camp. We ask that the use of this access be limited as the purpose of summer camp is to away from daily activity and to positively influence the lives of the Scouts at camp.
